Bring current ID and your unsigned document.
It deserves careful attention, verified identity, and a clear process from start to finish.
Bring a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID that shows your photo, physical description and signature — for example a Texas driver's license, a state ID card from any U.S. state, a U.S. passport, a military ID or a valid foreign passport. If a signer has no acceptable ID, Texas law may allow identification through a credible witness who personally knows the signer. Contact us before the appointment so we can confirm what will work.
Yes. We can notarize the signature on a power of attorney that you or your attorney have already prepared. The person granting the powers must appear in person with valid ID and sign willingly in front of the notary. As a Texas Notary Public who is not an attorney, we cannot draft the document, choose the form or explain what powers it grants; for that, please consult a licensed Texas attorney.
Texas law sets the maximum fee for each notarial act. Most acknowledgments and jurats are $10 for the first signature and $1 for each additional signature. An online notarization may add up to $25, for a $35 maximum. Mobile visits include a separate travel fee, a business charge that we always confirm with you before booking. We never charge more than the legal maximum for the notarial act.
Yes. We visit hospitals, rehabilitation centers and nursing homes in San Antonio and the surrounding area. We coordinate visiting rules with the facility, verify the signer's ID and speak directly with the signer to confirm they are signing willingly and know what they are signing. Same-day and urgent visits are often available; the urgent or after-hours fee is listed on our pricing page.
Yes. Alam Lule speaks English and Spanish and communicates directly with every signer in the language they prefer, from the first message to the final seal. This is especially helpful for families and businesses with Spanish-speaking signers. Please remember that a Texas Notary Public is not an attorney and cannot give legal advice or prepare documents, in either language.
